Good news : the AD-4N Skyraider F-AZFN landed in urgency by Bernard Vurpillot on a field near Soissons in late 2051 after an engine failure is back in the air. After the wings and propeller have been disassembled on site the Skyraider was transported by road back to Melun in winter, it has been carefully reassembled with a brand new engine in June.
After engine runs and test flights the Skyraider was flown in company of the Mustang and Catalina to the 52nd Paris Airshow In Le Bourget for a static presentation.
Bad new : in June after an engine failure, the NA-68 was landed in a field near Chambord and was seriously damaged.
Good new : the pilot did a perfect dead engine landing and escaped the aircraft uninjured.
